Surgical table SC 5010 ES / HS

The mobile, electrically operated SC 5010 ES/HS surgical table is specifically designed for various applications including, but not limited to ophthalmology, ENT, max. fascial, plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

The tables are offered in different heights for certain medical specialties.

  • ES ophthalmology 52 – 78 cm
  • HS head surgery 64 – 100 cm

In ophthalmology cataract patients appreciate in particular:

  • Very low ingress level of 52 cm
  • The vertical leg rest
  • 50 mm electric lift of head rest when back rest horizontal

Elderly handicapped or wheelchair patients can get easily into and out of the chair.

In ENT, max. fascial, plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures the high vertical lift from 63 cm to 100 cm supports both, seated down or standing up procedures.

Features and Functions

Electric movements


Five electric actuators drive the head rest, the height, the back rest, the seat cushion tilt and the leg support. The segments can be moved individually or, using the memory function, simultaneously.

The head rest features an electric 50 mm lift. This is a distinctive advantage for certain procedure in ENT, max. fascial, plastic, and aesthetic surgery.

The 6 memory buttons allow to save, and swiftly move the chair to individual positions. That assists to accelerate the surgical procedures and preparation processes.

A handheld control panel with 6 memory buttons is included in the standard configuration. Foot switches or foot joysticks are available as an option.

Electric actuated head rest


The electric controlled head rest offers a 50 mm vertical travel with the back rest being in a horizontal position. That travel allows to tilt the head to ventral or dorsal for certain procedures. It may also assist to place the patients head in a more comfortable position.

Leg supports


Both models ES and HS feature a vertical leg support setting to assist a very comfortable ingress into the chair,

The SC 5010 ES chair travels as low as 52 cm minimum height, which makes it very comfortable to elderly, handy capped or wheelchair patients to get into the chair with very little assistance. This is also very gentle to the backs of the nursing staff.

A telescoping foot plate extends the leg support for and provides sufficient length of the leg support.

Trendelenburg (shock) position


In case of an emergency the Trendelenburg (shock) position is instantly available,

The surgical table wheels on 4 heavy duty dual castors and is easily maneuverable. The surgical table may be used for the transport of patients which means, you are able to perform patient
– pre op
-surgery
-recovery
on one surgical table without the need to transfer the patient to another device.

The foot operated brake system features 3 settings

  • All wheels locked
  • All wheels pivoting freely
  • One wheel locked for steering control

The surgical table is driven by an integrated battery and totally mobile and line power independent. No disturbing electric cables on the floor.

Additional articulate head rest tilt


If additional reclination or anteflexion of the head is needed, a tilt articulate is available. This opens the surgical field, and the surgeon is able to continue to maintain a ergonomically favorable posture with an upright back. This accessory is very suitable for

A solid stainless-steel bar angled at 90°. Can be attached at any position on the side railings and is stable enough to hold any hand pieces for surgery.

Instrument Table ak 104


This very useful instrument table stands on a tilt proof 5 finger base, equipped with castors. To line up the ak 104 instrument table to the surgical table height, a mechanical height adjustment is available.
